Hillesvåg- Sol
Sol lamb wool yarn is a Norwegian soft yarn which is Swan-labelled, airy, soft and light: a natural choice for baby knitting, and garments to wear close to skin.
This 2-plied yarn is spun from Norwegian lambs wool C1 Fine, 28 micron. This means that only the finest fibers from four Norwegian crossbreed breeds Dala, Ryggja, Cheviot and Steigar are used in the production of this yarn. Wool from Norwegian sheep has great curl (frizz) and elasticity (bounce), which makes up an airy, soft and light carded yarn.
The wool is Nordic Eco-labeled (Nordic Swan label). Only GOTS-approved dyes are used in the color series of Sol lambswool yarn. GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) requires that dyes are biodegradable and non-toxic, a good choice for the environment and the consumer. The finished product does not contain allergens or residues of hazardous chemicals. GOTS-approved dyes are used in organic production of yarn and textiles.
It is recommended to hand wash the garments with mild wool soap and let them dry flat.
